Introducing Westlaw Patron Access for Pro Se

Westlaw Patron Access for Pro Se is now available remotely through the Hennepin County Law Library. Our subscription allows for up to two Pro Se users to simultaneously access Westlaw resources outside the walls of the law library. The purpose of Westlaw Patron Access Remote is to further the law library’s vision of justice equity through this special Pro Se access for self-represented litigants, non-attorneys, or attorneys who are not working on behalf of a client.

Before you can access Westlaw Patron Access Remote, you must complete a OnePass registration and validate your email address.

Once you have registered, you can click the Westlaw Patron Access Remote link on the Law Library’s website and log in with the OnePass username and password you created.

Sign Off Instructions

To end your research session, it is important to click Sign Off.  This ensures that other patrons are able to use Westlaw immediately.  If you do not click Sign Off, it will take 7 to 10 minutes for the seat to reset and become available for the next patron.
